World Weather AI brings together weather forecasts, historical weather summaries and sea temperatures. The available information and update times vary by location and data type.

Weather forecasts

Google Weather API supplies forecast data for supported locations. The available variables and forecast period depend on the source. A forecast describes expected conditions and may change as new information arrives.

Historical averages

Monthly averages are calculated from the historical data available for each location. The period covered is shown alongside the relevant figures. These averages help compare seasons; they are not a forecast for the dates of a particular trip.

Sea temperature

Water temperatures are processed separately from air temperatures. A value for a current date and a seasonal average describe different things. The date and explanation beside each figure indicate which type of information is being shown.

IP geolocation

DB-IP Country Lite is used on our server to estimate the country associated with an IP address and select the cookie-consent settings. It is not used to determine a visitor’s exact address or track their location within a city.

Updates and limitations

Different data types are updated on different schedules. Check the dates shown on the page, particularly when comparing a forecast with historical averages. Local conditions at a beach or in the mountains can differ from those shown for the nearest town.
